We use finish nailers, brad nailers and staplers and the technical specs for this compressor are a good fit. We've owned a 6-gallon Porter-Cable C2002-WK for a couple of years, use it daily, and are happy with it, but convinced ourselves that a second compressor would let us work at opposite ends of the house without trailing hoses all over Creation. Now we can have two guns attached to each compressor and it should speed everything up.

I purchased the C2002 WKR to replace a well used 10 year old Porter cable CF2600 120 psi 6 gallon compressor, which was overheating. With the exception of being packaged in a plain brown box (instead of the new model box printed white and red), and the small refurbished sticker on the compressor housing, my unit appears to be brand new. The box arrived in great shape with no dents or marks. I looked at a new C2002 at a big box store and it appears the plain brown refurbished box is slightly heavier than the printed new box, which is good thing if are buying on line and having it shipped. I bought this compressor because of it's small size and portability and got something that does everything it's designed for, and very well at that. If you're looking for a compressor to top off a low car tire, blow out dust and dirt using the blow nozzle or run some of the low air consumption tools, this is a great compressor. The bonus is just about anyone can move it and its small enough to take it with you if you're helping out a friend away from your own home. I bought the factory-reconditioned model from Amazon...BARGAIN. Hope this helps you evaluate how this compressor may help you.

I bought this to power a framing nailer. The compressor was refurbished. I received the compressor within 4 days from the date of order. The drain valve on the compressor tank was defective. However, Customer Service at Porter Cable was extremely helpful. They apologized for the faulty valve and ensured that I had the replacement part in 2 days. The compressor works great. It handles my framing nailer without any problem. I believe this was a very good purchase.

I've been using this air compressor for about 3 weeks now for installing trim with 16 and 18ga. nail guns and it has been great. It goes from 0 to 125psi in 75sec. When it kicks on during use, it takes less than 15sec to refill. It is a little louder than I expected, but runs so briefly that it's hardly an issue. Also, it's fairly heavy so I set mine on a furniture dolly and just roll it around. So far, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to others.
